Frequently asked questions

What is Lensing TENCEL Modal?

TENCEL Modal is a sustainably sourced fabric made from natural wood pulp — a gentler, more responsible alternative to conventional fibers, and a big part of why our pieces feel the way they do. It's exceptionally soft, often softer than cotton, and lightweight and smooth against the skin. It's also naturally moisture-wicking, so it breathes rather than clings, and it holds onto that softness wash after wash instead of breaking down over time.

Instead of trapping moisture the way many fabrics do, TENCEL Modal keeps you feeling dry and breathable, with less friction and irritation against the skin. For anyone with sensitive skin, or who simply wants a piece they can wear all day without thinking about it, it tends to feel noticeably better than the alternatives. It's part of why our clothing is made to be worn often and lived in — not just for a season, but for years.

How should I care for my Light Worker on Duty garments?

To extend the life of your pieces, we recommend washing in cold water, avoiding fabric softeners, and hanging or laying flat to dry. Mindful care keeps your garments, and the planet, looking their best.

What is your policy for my garments when I'm done wearing them?

We're developing a take-back program to responsibly recycle or repurpose your Light Worker on Duty pieces at the end of their life cycle. Until then, we encourage donating or reselling them to extend their journey.

What makes your clothing "sustainable"?

Our garments are crafted from ethically sourced, low-impact materials in small batches with trusted manufacturing partners who prioritize fair labor and environmental responsibility. Every piece is designed to last, helping you buy less and wear more.
